At the heart of the little village of Sauveterre de Rouergue in Aveyron, the Le Sénéchal hotel embodies the preserved, authentic charm of this bastide listed in the 18th-century.
The 11 rooms and suite behind the half-timbered façade with exposed stone are decorated with as much elegance and simplicity, mixing hand-picked furniture, contemporary designs and terra cotta covering the floor that has built up a patina.
The Sauveterre rooms have terraces, depending on availability, which look out over the Aveyron countryside. They are flooded with light and extend your space outdoors. From the early hours of the morning to the final hours of the day, you’ll enjoy how quiet the premises are and the lush green nature.
The Bastide rooms are located either side of the building and have large windows which bathe rooms in light and from which you can see the countryside or the village.
The show is not the same, with either green gardens or stone houses, but each is as spectacular as the other. The spacious rooms are perfect for families, and a third bed can be easily added. One of them is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
This suite is the most spacious room in the hotel. It is decorated with hand-picked furniture, old rugs and terracotta shades that create the warm ambiance found in country houses.
The Suite has a large room, double lounge, large bathroom with shower and bath and a terrace, providing optimum comfort. You’ll benefit from a privileged space as a couple or with the family where everyone can enjoy their privacy.
The hotel’s two Duplexes have been designed with the idea of a little family home, where colourful rugs, hand-picked furniture and a wooden staircase make up simple and cosy decor.
The Duplexes have a large lounge on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor for a comfortable living space that’s perfect for visitors looking for calm, privacy and comfort.
